St. Joseph’s Church This is a Roman Catholic church. Located along the Chao Phraya River, Samphao Lom Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. It is an old church that King Narai the Great granted land to. Construction materials and assets Used as a place for religious ceremonies. This church was originally built of wood. Later rebuilt with brick and mortar during the war with the Burmese, this church was used as a shelter from the war and was destroyed. Until Bishop Palleguaux traveled to Thailand Therefore, the church was temporarily renovated and built with wood and thatched grass for the roof. Later Bishop Albert renovated and added a new church in the Romanesque style. The church windows are made of stained glass that tells stories about the history of Jesus and under the church was used to house the corpses of priests and bishops. Later, in the reign of King Rama V, the temple was restored again. Currently, this church is still beautiful and is the center of the minds of Thai people who believe in Christianity.
