The Kudi Chin community is a community of Thais of Portuguese descent who immigrated from Ayutthaya when Ayutthaya fell for the second time in 1767. But nowadays, those Thais of Portuguese descent have hardly any Western appearance left. The community has Santa Cruz Church as the center of the community. This community has Kudi Jeen desserts for sale. which is a local dessert of this community and Khanom Kudi Jeen can be considered an original local dessert of Bangkok.
