Don Rak War Cemetery is a war cemetery for foreign soldiers. Located on Saeng Chuto Road, Mueang Kanchanaburi District, Kanchanaburi Province. The cemetery was established in 1954 as a joint effort between the Thai and Allied governments. It was designed by British architect Colin St Clair Oakes, who also designed the Chong Kai Confederate War Cemetery. This cemetery uses the landscape architecture style of a lawn cemetery, emphasizing the simplicity of a manicured lawn and the use of graves in the form of pillow markers. The location and landscape-style architecture make this cemetery popular as one of the important tourist attractions in the Mueang Kanchanaburi District.
