Death Railway Built during World War II by the Japanese government. Borrowing 4 million baht from the Thai government, construction took only 1 year to complete, from October 1942 to October 1943, to be used as a strategic route through Myanmar. This railway is considered a memorial to the war events of that time. This is because the labor of pioneering construction went to Confederate prisoners of war and Asian laborers. that the Japanese army conscripted to build this railway with the curve of death or Krasae Cave. It is a curved bridge along the Kwai Noi River, about 400 meters long. It is extremely thrilling and dangerous. This caused many prisoners of war to die from the brutal construction of the railway.
